Alfa Romeo launched their promotion of the new Brera S with the tagline 'Best of Italy. Best of Britain' This sparked off the idea of creating a website reflecting this dichotomy, starting with the green, white and red Union Jack.
The Best of Italy half shows content related to Alfa Romeo's heritage and the passion behind the company whilst the Best of Britain section emphasizes the design and engineering. A third mode section contains a video player which shows two movie clips on the Brera S in line with the dual nature of the site. This player takes up the entire browser window and ensures that the video does not have distortion or filler black bars anywhere. Transition between the main sections uses a video of the car being driven onto the flag and a swivel to the left and right for Italy and Britain. |
