Description The NHS wanted to build a campaign which reaches out to people who do not necessarily use a computer on a day to day basis. To accomplish this they contracted Saint to build an interactive game which would be deployed on a touch-screen kiosk located in a rugby stadium. The kiosk presents the user with a multiple-choice quiz game, during which some health-related messages appear occasionally. When the game is completed the user has the choice of submitting a mobile phone number to register for a prize-draw and to be entered into the leaderboard. Finally the user can also browse some health messages on specific areas such as smoking, alcohol, stress, exercise and diet.

The game is built entirely in actionscript 3 and pulls the set of questions from an XML file. A score of 100 is awarded the user on answering a question correctly, and bonus points are also awarded based on the number of seconds remaining on the clock at the time of answer. The whole application operates locally on the kiosk to save on bandwidth requirements since the internet connection is over 3G. Touch4 also provide additional functionality such as printing messages out on paper for the user to take away.
