| Description |
Rolls-Royce wanted to have an interactive world map which allows the user to get information about their bases of operation. The central concept is to have a world map with rollover zones which correspond to a number of regions.
When a region is clicked it zooms up on the map and the user can see where each site is as an active dot on the map. These are clickable in order to get further information on the site in question. A number of tabs in a text panel to the right of the map provides various pieces of information about aspects of site-specific employment. The entire site content is set up in XML, allowing for full configurability for each region. This includes text content as well as the available sites. All imagery is dynamically loaded and is linked up in the same XML. Featured videos are also available per region |
